Our Story

Hempel Hay & Cattle has been serving your individual needs from Inez, Texas since 1998.  Family owned and operated by Roger and Leanne Hempel along with children, Falyn, Morgyn, and Caden Joe.  Hempel Hay & Cattle strives to produce quality hay and cattle at affordable prices.  Currently we run over 100 registered polled Hereford cows and have commercial herds also. Our hay business consists of hay sales, delivery, and custom baling.
